FocusGuard AI Privacy Policy

FocusGuard AI is a Chrome extension that helps users block distracting websites during focus sessions and receive AI-generated productivity coaching.

Information the Extension Stores Locally

FocusGuard AI stores the following data locally in the user's browser using Chrome storage:

• Whether a focus session is active
• Session start time and duration
• User's blocked site list
• Daily session count
• Total focus minutes
• Distraction attempt count
• Weekly focus statistics
• Top distraction statistics
• Selected AI coach personality
• Selected response mode
• Onboarding completion status

This local data is used only to run the extension and show productivity stats to the user.

Information Sent to the Backend

When a user tries to visit a blocked site during an active focus session, FocusGuard AI sends a request to the FocusGuard AI Cloudflare Worker backend to generate an AI coaching message.
